Diwali also known as Divali is a 5-day celebration of religious festivities significant in Hinduism, Sikhism, and Jainism, which occurs between mid October and mid November. 

It is also known popularly as the Festival of Lights. Divali is an official holiday in India, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore and Fiji.
